Madysen Cossack led Siena to a 6-0 week, including two MAAC sweeps over Monmouth and Rider. The sophomore drove in 18 runs last week, while batting .688 with a .714 on base percentage. The California native hit four home runs and three doubles. In game two against the Hawks, the first baseman went 4-4 with six RBI on two home runs, one of which was a grand slam. Her slugging percentage for the week was 1.625.
Pitcher of the Week
Alana Evans, Iona

Sophomore Alana Evans threw 17.0 innings, allowed three earned runs on eight hits. She struck out 20 batters and recorded a 1.24 ERA. On April 26 against Rider, Evans went 7.0 innings, allowed three hits, walked one, and struck out seven. On April 30 against Saint Peter's, Evans threw 5.0 innings, allowed one run on two hits. She struck out eight of the 16 batters she faced. She earned her 15th win of the season as the Gaels clinched their berth into the MAAC Tournament Championship. In game two on Sunday, Evans went back to the rubber and threw 5.0 innings, allowed two runs on three hits and struck out five.
Rookie of the Week
Kayla Rosado, Monmouth

Monmouth freshman Kayla Rosado batted .571 in four games this week, going 8-14 from the plate and a walk. Rosado hit two doubles during the weekend, and picked up an RBI in game two against Siena on Sunday. She had at least two hits in three out of four games, including a 3-4 outing in the win at Saint Peter's on Saturday.
