He was part of back-to-back MAAC regular season championships in 1996 and 1997. Timinskas graduated as the number seven all-time scorer in Iona men's basketball history and currently ranks 11th with 1,617 points. Additionally, he ranks top 10 all-time in field goal attempts (1,276) and three-point field goals attempts (383). Upon his graduation from Iona, Timiniskas played professional basketball in Lithuania and Spain. He also played for the Lithuanian senior national team, earning a bronze medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Lithuania had a chance to
upset Team USA in the semifinal round in a game where Timiniskas netted
11 points and three rebounds in the narrow two-point defeat. Timiniskas finished his basketball career a three-time
Lithuanian LKL Champion, one-time LKL finals MVP and one-time All-Star Game MVP.
