Offensive Player of the Week
Nicole Sasso, Marist
Jr., Freehold, NJ/Academy Allied Health and Science

Sasso scored three goals in two Marist wins this week. In a 3-0 triumph over Niagara, she headed home a free kick and buried a corner kick in the first half to put Marist up for good. In a win at Siena, she one-timed a corner kick into the right of the net in the 48th minute for the game-deciding goal. The week marked the first multi-goal game of Sasso’s career and the first time the junior captain scored in consecutive matches.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Natalie Kelchner, Marist

So., Fairfield, CT/Fairfield Ludlowe High School
Kelchner didn’t allow a goal in two wins this week. The sophomore posted two saves in 80 minutes in a 3-0 win over Niagara, followed with seven stops, including five to preserve the lead, in a 1-0 triumph at Siena. The latter performance was her first individual shutout of the season. Kelchner has allowed just one goal in her last four games.

Rookie of the Week
Olivia Scott, Quinnipiac
Fr., Aurora, Ontario/Bill Crothers Secondary
Freshman Olivia Scott scored twice through two games this week. The freshman scored the third goal against Fairfield in a 3-0 win. She also scored the second goal in a 3-0 win vs Niagara. She played all but 5 minutes in the midfield for Quinnipiac and tallied two shots.
