Rider’s Frederick Scott, Marist’s Tyler Saint-Furcy Named Pepsi Zero MAAC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week

Frederick Scott, Rider
R-Jr., Munster, IN/Simeon
Scott averaged a team-high 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in the Broncs' 2-0 start to the season. He began the year with 21 points and 13 rebounds in a come-from-behind 91-84 win at Coppin State, before going for 13 points and four rebounds in just 21 minutes in a blowout victory at Delaware State. He shot 63.2 percent (12-19) from the floor, including 50.0 percent (3-6) from long range.
 
Rookie of the Week
Tyler Saint-Furcy, Marist
Fr., Inwood, NY/Woodmere Academy
Saint-Furcy filled the stat sheet with 10 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots in his collegiate debut as Marist rallied from a 13-point deficit for a road win at VMI. He knocked down two three-pointers in five attempts.
