Lea Favre
Women’s Basketball
Rider University

Junior forward Lea Favre had a solid week in the post for the Broncs as Rider went 1-1 in MAAC play. She averaged 16 points, five rebounds and one block per game as Rider moved into sole possession of second-place in the MAAC standings. In a 79-64 victory on the road over Niagara, Favre scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting. In the win, she hit all six of her free-throw attempts, while grabbing six rebounds and blocking a pair of shots. Since the start of MAAC play, Favre is shooting over 56 percent from the field and scoring in double figures. Her strong play has helped guide the Broncs to a 12-4 record, and has been one of the reasons Rider has stacked three 10-win conference seasons in a row for the first time since joining the MAAC.
