EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and opendorse announced a partnership to help build the brands of the league’s student-athletes, coaches, administrators and member institutions.

“We are always eager to find new and innovative ways to elevate our brand,” said MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. “This partnership gives us great potential to tell the stories and highlight the successes of our student-athletes, on and off the field”

Founded in 2012 by two former Nebraska football players, opendorse has become the world's leading athlete marketing platform. Using the opendorse platform, the MAAC will send photos, videos and other digital content from weekly news and championships to ambassadors around the conference. These ambassadors can then post the content directly to their own social media channels.

“The future of social media in college sports is undoubtably athlete-driven,” said Blake Lawrence, opendorse CEO. “Everybody wins when student-athletes are empowered to make the most of their moments — the fans, schools, conference, and most importantly, the athletes. We’re thrilled to help the MAAC and its member institutions lead this new era on social.”

The MAAC joins more than 70 premier collegiate athletics properties using opendorse, including Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan and Indiana Athletics.

About opendorse:
opendorse helps athletes share content on social. More than 7,500 athletes around the world use opendorse to receive content from partners and publish to their social channels with one tap. Leading sports organizations like the PGA TOUR, NFLPA, LPGA, dozens of professional and collegiate sports teams, and hundreds of brands use the platform to send video highlights, photos, GIFs, and more to athletes.

The publishing process is lightweight. Once registered, athletes receive a text message when their team, league, or brand partner has content for them to share on social media. The athlete simply reviews the content and hits 'approve’ — opendorse does the rest. Founded in 2012 by two former Nebraska football players, opendorse has become the world's leading athlete marketing platform.
