Jerry Johnson ‘05
Jerry Johnson ’05 graduated second in career points (2,047) and was just the second Bronc and ninth New Jersey Division I player to ever compile 2,000 career points. He averaged 17.6 PPG for his career, sixth-best ever at Rider. He also graduated fifth in career assists with 421, averaging 3.6 per game, eighth-best ever at Rider. He made 102 three-point field goals as a senior, most ever by a Rider player in a single season. The Broncs were 36-24 his junior and senior years.

Johnson was a three-time First Team All-MAAC and Second Team All-MET selection. He was the MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2002 and a three-time Team MVP. He was known for making game-winning shots and won two games as a rookie on buzzer-beaters and sent several others into overtime. The night he needed 26 points to reach 2,000 he scored 28, including six points in overtime in a win over Niagara that gave Rider a share of the regular season title, one of two MAAC Regular Season Titles Rider won while Johnson was on the team. He was the 2005 Rider Male Athlete of the Year and a 2013 inductee into the Rider Athletics Hall of Fame.

Robin Perkins ’17
Robin Perkins ’17 made a lasting impact on the Rider University women’s basketball program after her three-year stint in Lawrenceville. Perkins became the first player in program history to be honored as the MAAC Player of the Year in 2017. That same season, her final with the Broncs, she was part of the first Rider team in program history to earn a berth in the WNIT. She was a two-time All-MAAC honoree and was a unanimous selection to the First Team as a senior. Perkins also garnered First Team All-MET honors as a senior as well. In her career, she scored 1,212 points and was eighth in program history at the time of her graduation.
