Offensive Player of the Week
Caroline Bleck, Monmouth
Jr., Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale
Caroline Bleck led an offensive outburst for Monmouth in two wins this week, compiling 14 points. The junior came within one of tying the Hawk record for goals in a game after finishing with a career-high seven in a 20-11 win over LIU. On Sunday she came back and scored five more while adding a pair of assists for seven more points. Bleck scored on 12 of 16 shots and was four of five on 8 meter attempts. In two games this week the Monmouth offense outscored opponents 38-17 and outshot foes 83-42.
Defensive Player of the Week
Stephanie Delliturri, Monmouth
R-Sr., Ringoes, NJ/Hunterdon Central Regional
Monmouth goaltender Stephanie Delliturri recorded two wins between the pipes for the Hawks last weekend, including making eight saves in a 18-4 win over Central Connecticut State on Sunday. In two games she recorded a 9.36 goals against average while making 14 total saves in the victories. Dellituri also added five ground balls against the Blue Devils. Her eight saves against CCSU was a career high.
Rookie of the Week
Sophia Iaccino, Quinnipiac
Fr., Farmingdale, NY/St. Anthony’s
The first-year midfielder did not waste any time to make an impression on the win over LIU. The Farmingdale, New York native scored three consecutive goals for the Bobcats to record a hat trick in less than 14 minutes of game time. The first year also picked up three ground balls and recorded one draw control in the win.
