MAAC Announces 2019-20 Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team

Atlantic City, N.J. (March 11, 2019) – A total of 73 student-athletes have been named to the 2019-20 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Niagara University led the way with 10 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Fairfield University and Marist College both placed nine student-athletes, while Manhattan College and Saint Peter’s University both placed eight. Quinnipiac University and Rider University followed with seven student-athletes. Rounding out the field was Iona College and Monmouth University, both naming six student-athletes to the All-Academic Team, and Canisius College with three.
