Manhattan’s Pacher and Iona’s Wydan Named Hercules Tires MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week
EDISON, N.J. (Feb. 10, 2021) – Manhattan College’s Luke Pacher and Iona College’s Maeve Wydan have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Pacher has been a starter on defense from the moment he set foot on campus. Last season, he started in all six games and was a key member of a defensive unit that ranked 10
th nationally in allowing a MAAC-low 9.3 goals per game. In the classroom, he is majoring in business analytics, is a two-time MAAC All-Academic honoree and last semester earned Dean's List honors.
Maeve Wydan
Iona
Women’s Water Polo
Wydan, a junior utility player on the Iona College water polo team, also serves as President of the Student Government Association. In the fall, Wydan was very involved in Iona and the MAAC’s social campaign to help get Gaels registered to vote. She has been and continues to be a true leader and voice for the student body in Iona’s return to campus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Wydan and the Maroon and Gold start their 2021 season on Mar. 20 against Siena and Marist.
