MAAC Announces 2020-21 Men’s Basketball All-Rookie Team
EDISON, N.J. (Mar. 8, 2021) - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced its 2020-21 Men’s Basketball All-Rookie Team. The All-Rookie Team is voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.
The All-Rookie Team is made up of Marist College’s Hakim Byrd and Ricardo Wright, Quinnipiac University’s Tymu Chenery and Luis Kortright, and Iona College’s Nelly Junior Joseph. Chenery, Junior Joseph, Kortright, and Wright were all unanimous selections.
Junior Joseph led the way in MAAC Rookie of the Week selections, getting the nod four times during the 2020-21 season, including three selections in December 2020. Kortright and Wright each collected three Rookie of the Week awards.
