Defensive Player of the Week

Brett Dobson, St. Bonaventure

So., Oshawa, Ontario/The Hill Academy 

Made 15 saves in a 9-8 victory over Manhattan, the top-ranked team in the conference standings entering this weekend, and added 4 groundballs. He ranks 7th nationally in save percentage for the season (.606). Dobson has 11+ saves in every game this season and allowed single-digit goals against in three-of-five games while playing every second in the cage.
 

Offensive Player of the Week

Brett Erskine, Detroit Mercy

Sr., St. Catharines, Ontario/Western Reserve Academy

Senior Brett Erskine tied his career-high with five goals and six points while adding a team-high four ground balls and a caused turnover. Two of his three goals along with his assist were on the first four goals of the game and he also became the fourth Titan in school history to reach 100 career points as the Titans defeated Canisius, 13-5.

 

Rookie of the Week

Austin Holley, St. Bonaventure

Fr., Hilton, NY/Hilton/St. Joseph’s Collegiate

Won 14 of 20 faceoff attempts and was key to Bona's 9-8 victory over Manhattan, which was previously undefeated in league play and added 10 groundballs. He set program single-game records for both faceoff wins and groundballs and was directly responsible for the goal just before halftime, winning the faceoff and delivering a pass in front of the net. Holley won seven consecutive faceoffs during the first quarter and went 6-for-10 in the faceoff X in the second half.
