Iona Men's Golf, Rider’s Devereux Complete Season in Final Round of NCAA Kingston Springs Regional

KINGSTON SPRINGS, TN (May 19, 2021) – The Iona College Men’s Golf Team and Austin Devereux of Rider University concluded their 2021 campaigns following the final round of the 2021 NCAA Men’s Golf Regional Championship at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs, TN.
 
The Gaels finished the three-round event in 13th place with an overall score of 933 (+81). Over the course of the regional, the team recorded a combined 20 birdies and 153 pars. Leading the way for Iona was Oisin Devereux, who tied for 64th place individually with a 17 over-par 230. His final round score of 73 (+2) was his best of the regional.

Austin Devereux, the 2021 MAAC Men’s Golf Individual Champion, wrapped up the regional in a tie for 56th place with a 12 over-par 225. Over three rounds, he tallied a combined 34 pars and six birdies. His second round score of 73 (+2) was his low for the regional.
