Manhattan's Reid To Play In Spain For Team USA East Coast Basketball

Riverdale, NY - Rising junior Romar Reid (Mount Vernon, NY / Iona Prep) has been selected to participate for Team USA East Coast Basketball in Spain this August.
Reid will play for Team White, which is composed of players from all three NCAA levels, and is led by Hall of Fame Coach Jim Boeheim.
USA East Coast Basketball, in cooperation with Moneyball Sportwear, Anthony Travel, Cleveland Brothers – CAT, and Nike will be conducting a two-day training camp Manhattan's Draddy Gymnasium, before heading to Valencia and Barcelona for games against opponents from Spain and France.
This weekend's training camp at Manhattan College is closed to the public.
Last year, Reid posted a 1.7 assist/turnover ratio last season over 16 games, and scored a career-best eight points in a win over Fairfield.
