MAAC Hires Jessie Holzman as Director of Championships
EDISON, NJ (July 8, 2021) – Today the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced the hiring of Jessie Holzman as a Director of Championships.
In her position, Holzman will be responsible for overseeing her assigned sports, including the planning and coordination of conference championships.
“The MAAC is extremely elated to welcome Jessie aboard,” said MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. “Her work ethic and NCAA experience is a tremendous gain for the conference and we are very excited for her to join the team in August.”
Holzman will come to the MAAC in August. She most recently worked as an extern for the NCAA where she worked in Women’s Basketball Championships and Alliance offices. She also was a five-year softball student-athlete at the University of Akron, and in her offseason, she was a volunteer coach to her high school basketball team.
A native of Medina, Ohio, Holzman, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Akron in 2019. She then returned to Akron to continue her education and obtained her Masters of Business Administration.
