Fairfield’s Lopez-Senechal, Canisius’ Stubbs Earn Hercules Tires Women’s MAAC Basketball Weekly Awards

Senior forward Lou Lopez-Senechal tallied a game-high 27 points while shooting 50 percent from the floor in Fairfield's win at Rider. The senior recorded 18 of the team's 25 points in the first half, connecting on seven of her nine shots in the first 20 minutes. She also tallied two assists, two steals, and one block.
 
Rookie of the Week
Cheyenne Stubbs, Canisius

Freshman guard Cheyenne Stubbs posted season-highs in points (14) and assists (7) in the Griffs' 87-86 overtime loss to "Battle of the Bridge" rival Niagara. Stubbs made 5 of her 10 shot attempts from the field, while going 4-for-6 from 3-point range. She assisted on seven field goals while turning the ball over just twice.
