EDISON, NJ (February 16, 2022) – Monmouth’s Camryn McHugh and Siena’s Jackson Stormo have been named the Hercules Tires Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Student-Athletes of the Week.

Women’s Swimmimg & Diving
Camryn McHugh was named the Co-Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet at the 2022 MAAC Championships after winning three individual gold medals in the 100 Fly, 100 Back and 200 Back. McHugh was also part of Monmouth’s gold medal winning 200-yard medley relay team, the silver medal winning 400-yard medley relay team and the bronze medal winning 400-yard freestyle relay. McHugh was part of six program record breaking swims in total. As a finance major, McHugh was recently named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the third time in her career.
Jackson Stormo
Siena
Men’s Basketball
A transfer from Pepperdine prior to the 2020-21 season currently in his second season in Loudonville, Stormo is second on the team in scoring with 10.9 points per-game and averaged 10.8 points in 17 contests last year. The Santa Barbara, California native has gone in double figures 11 times this season, including a career-best 25 points and 11 rebounds at Georgetown on November 19. A team captain this season, Stormo also leads the team with 1.3 blocks per-game, ranks second on the team in rebounding with 7.0 per-contest, and led the MAAC during the 2020-21 campaign with a 65.5 shooting percentage from the floor. A sports communications major, Stormo holds a 3.46 cumulative GPA, and has been named to both the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the NABC Honors Court during his playing career at Siena.
