EDISON, NJ (February 24, 2022) – MAAC-n-Cheese Fest presented by Gourmet Dining Services will be returning to The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Basketball Championships in Atlantic City, NJ at the Adrian Phillips Theater on Friday, March 11 in conjunction with the Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall from March 8-12.
Once in the arena, fans can opt to pay $10.00 to sample macaroni and cheese from five participating restaurants and vote for a winner.
“The MAAC-n-Cheese Fest has been a signature ancillary event at the MAAC Basketball Championships for years and we are excited for it to finally be showcased in Atlantic City,” Associate Commissioner/Men’s Basketball Jordan Confessore said. “With the event management expertise of Roberts Event Group and presenting partner Gourmet Dining Services, we are anticipating a successful event that has been missed the past couple of years.”
“The MAAC selected Atlantic City as the best venue to see what basketball teams would hoist this year’s trophy,” George Kuzma said. “We are proud to support these student-athletes and also to sponsor the event to see who the TRUE MAAC (and cheese) Champion is.”
