Fairfield’s Brown and Saint Peter’s Janneh Earn Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Senior guard Janelle Brown had the game of her career, posting a personal-best 35 points on 15-for-17 shooting in her dominant game at Sacred Heart. Brown scored 23 of the team's final 25 points including the final eight field goals. She netted the game-tying bucket with under one second remaining and would also connect on the go-ahead basket in overtime
 
Rookie of the Week
Fatmata Janneh, Saint Peter's

Freshman forward Fatmata Janneh had a total of seven points during the first quarter against LIU. She finished the game with her second career double-double and a season-high of 17 points. Against Fordham, Fatmata Janneh was the lead scorer for the Peacocks, scoring 12 points after shooting 4-of-7 from the field and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Janneh collected two rebounds and three steals as well.
