BUFFALO, NY (February 11, 2023) – Fairfield University captured the 2023 MAAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championship title after scoring 609 points throughout four days of competition at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center in Buffalo, New York.

Day 4 Highlights
- The Purple Eagles took first place in the Women’s 400 Freestyle Relay with a new MAAC record of 3:26.49. Niagara’s relay team included Nia Thomas, Moana Houde-Camirand, Lila Maddux, Paige South
- On the final day, Fairfield’s Erini Pappas won the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:59.55.
- Niagara’s Paige South won the Women’s 100 Freestyle with a time of 50.91.
- In the 1650 Freestyle, Fairfield’s Erin Hoyland won with a time of 17:14.09.
