EDISON, NJ (May 23, 2023) – A total of 150 student-athletes were named to the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Baseball All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Canisius College led the conference with 22 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team followed by Fairfield University’s 20 selections. Marist College put 17 student-athletes on the team, while Iona University saw 16 players make the lineup, and Niagara University had 14 honorees. Manhattan College, Mount St. Mary’s University, and Saint Peter’s University each placed 13 student-athletes to the squad, while Quinnipiac University (8), Rider University (8), and Siena College (6) rounded out the 2023 All-Academic Team.
