2023-24 MAAC Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team Announced

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Mar. 11, 2024) – A total of 24 student-athletes were named to the 2023-24 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Leading all institutions with a league-most five academic honorees was Siena College, while Quinnipiac University was just behind the Saints, placing four student-athletes on the academic team. Right behind the top-three were Fairfield University, Marist College, and Mount St. Mary’s University earning three selections apiece. Rounding out the men’s academic team were Manhattan College with two selections, while Canisius University, Iona University, Rider University and Saint Peter’s University, all had one honoree each.

Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College. Merrimack College and Sacred Heart University will join the MAAC as full members in the 2024-25 academic year, expanding the conference to 13 institutions.
