Adam “Budd” Clark averaged 19 points per game in the Warriors two MAAC victory last week. The sophomore point guard scored 23 points in the win over Sacred Heart and 15 in the victory over Manhattan. Clark also added seven assists per game, as well as four rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest during the 2-0 MAAC week, helping improve the Warriors MAAC record to 5-0 on the season.
Rookie of the Week
Will Sydnor, Manhattan
Fr., Bronx, NY, The Patrick School
Will Sydnor averaged 19 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks in two contest this past week. He posted a career-high 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Mount St. Mary’s on Friday night. Sydnor scored the Jaspers' final 10 points of the game to keep Manhattan in striking distance of the Mountaineers, while adding a career-high five threes in the game and shooting an efficient 11-19 from the field while also blocking three shots on defense. The number of field goal makes and attempts were both a career high. Sydnor then wrapped up the weekend with 11 points (5-8), five rebounds and two assists at Merrimack on Sunday.
