EDISON, NJ (Jan. 27, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and ESPN have announced the tip times and networks for the 2025 Hercules Tires MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships; highlighted by national broadcasts for both championship finals on Saturday, March 15.
For the third consecutive year, both the men’s and women’s championship games will be airing live for a national audience on ESPNU. The men’s title game will occupy the 7:30 p.m. primetime slot on Saturday for the third year in a row, while the women’s championship finale will tip off in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
The men’s semifinal games on Friday, March 14 will air live on ESPNews for the fifth year in a row dating back to the 2021 championship. The first semifinal matchup will tip at 6:00 p.m. followed by a 8:30 p.m. start for the second semifinal contest.
ESPN will also simulcast the four broadcasts to ESPN+ in addition to the linear networks.
All other contests during the championships will also air live on ESPN+. They include first round games on Tuesday, March 11, the quarterfinal rounds on Wednesday and Thursday, March 12 and 13, and the women’s semifinals on Friday, March 14.
The MAAC basketball championship field will feature the league’s top-10 teams. This marks the first time in the league’s 44-year history that the championship will not include every conference team.
