EDISON, NJ (Oct. 29, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is excited to announce Air Force Reserve as the title partner of the 2026 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. This partnership is part of a national agreement secured by Van Wagner, which manages the MAAC’s partnership and corporate marketing program.
“We’re excited to partner with the Air Force Reserve for the 2026 MAAC Basketball Championships,” said MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci. “Their values of teamwork, discipline, and service reflect the very best of what our student-athletes represent. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to leadership, integrity, and excellence, which are principles that are central to both the Air Force Reserve and the MAAC. We look forward to showcasing that connection throughout Championship Week in Atlantic City.”
As part of the 2026 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships entitlement, Air Force Reserve will be featured prominently through consistent branding, on-site engagement, and digital and social media messaging.
“This valuable partnership will help us highlight the multiple benefits of serving in the Air Force Reserve,” said Lt. Col. Jon Quinlan, Air Force Reserve Recruiting deputy commander. “Serving in the Air Force Reserve is much like playing on an award-winning sports team. We offer flexible service, stable benefits and a purpose-driven mission to be part of defending our nation while staying connected to your community.”
The 2025-26 campaign culminates with the 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 5-10 at Historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 2026 will be the seventh consecutive year Boardwalk Hall will host the annual championship dating back to 2020, making the arena the third-most frequent host for the event. The championship field will feature the conference's top 10 teams for the second straight year, with last year being the first time in league history the championship did not include every conference team. Additionally, with the shift of the basketball championship schedule to a week earlier, the women’s championship game will be a standalone contest on Monday, March 9, while the men’s championship game will air live nationally on ESPN or ESPN2 on Tuesday, March 10. This will mark the first time since the 2010 championships that the men’s and women’s championship finals are standalone games.
