Fairfield’s Brown and Rider’s Bartholomew Pick Up Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Graduate student “roadrunner” Raiana Brown led the Stags with a 21.5 scoring average while shooting 64 percent from the field in Fairfield's 2-0 week. Her week was highlighted by a season-high 31 points on a perfect 11-for-11 shooting against Sacred Heart. She became the first player in program history to record a perfect shooting game with at least 10 field goals made and the sixth player in the country this season.

Freshman forward Winner Bartholomew averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists during a 1-1 week for the Broncs. The freshman tied a career-high with 17 points in the win over Sacred Heart before adding 12 points against Siena. For the week, Bartholomew shot .800 (12-15) from the field.
