Saint Peter’s Janneh and Marist’s Williamsen Earn Hercules Tires MAAC Women’s Basketball Weekly Awards

Sophomore forward Fatmata Janneh led the Peacocks with a pair of double-doubles last week in two wins. Averaged 18.0 ppg and 16.5 rpg with 7.0 apg in a 2-0 week. Just missed a triple double with 17 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high nine assists in a win over Mt. St. Mary's. Dropped in her 14th double-double of the season with 19 points and 18 rebounds with five assists, two steals and two blocks in a road win over Sacred Heart to help the Peacocks secure a spot in the MAAC Championship next month.  
 
Rookie of the Week
Danielle Williamsen, Marist

In a 2-0 weekend, freshman Danielle Williamson averaged 16.5 points while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor. She added 3.00 rebounds per game and only had one turnover all weekend. She opened the week with 13 points against Canisius, before dropping an efficient 20 points v Niagara.
