Quinnipiac Women's Golf Wraps Up Regionals in Arizona

GOLD CANYON, AZ - The Quinnipiac women's golf team's season came to an end at the NCAA Regionals at the Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, May 7th. Quinnipiac shot a 313 (+25) on the tournament's final day.
 
Samantha Galantini scored the best Bobcat score on the final day of competition as she shot a 77 (+5).
 
Marisa Flores and Sophia Fujita each shot a 78 (+6) on the final 18. Vaidehi Shah shot an 80 (+8) on the final day. Sandhya Vaikuntam rounded out the Bobcats grouping as she shot an 81 (+9) on the last day.

SCORES AND NOTES      
  • Quinnipiac finished the regionals with seven total birdies.     
  • The Bobcats finished the tournament with 158 pars, good for 10th best in the field.
  • Marisa Flores recorded two birdies in the regional, while all other Bobcats recorded one.  
  • Four of six Bobcats recorded 30+ pars in the tournament.
