2025 MAAC Basketball Tipoff Event Schedule Announced

EDISON, NJ (Sep. 23, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced the schedule and attendees for the annual MAAC Basketball Tipoff. The 2025 MAAC Basketball Tipoff is set to take place on Tuesday, September 30 at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.
 
The 2025 MAAC Basketball Tipoff will begin with a breakfast featuring comments from the Commissioner, the Preseason Players of the Year, and the head coaches of the teams selected No. 1 in the preseason polls. The breakfast will be emceed by NBC/WNBA announcer, Edona Thaqi. Members of the media will also be in attendance. Breakfast will be followed by a live show on ESPN+ which will be headlined by the announcements of the Basketball Coaches’ Preseason Polls, Preseason Players of the Years, and Preseason All-MAAC Teams. The live broadcast will include interviews conducted by MAAC basketball announcers Geoff Brault, Dianne Nolan, Eddy Occhipinti, and Chris Williams with head coaches and student-athletes from both men’s and women’s programs from all 13 MAAC institutions.
