Pitcher of the Week
Christian Aiello, Rider

Aiello delivered a dominant outing in the series opener against Sacred Heart, earning the win after tossing 6.0 scoreless innings. The left-hander allowed just two hits while striking out a career-high 11 batters. Aiello struck out the side in both the second and fourth innings and retired 16 consecutive batters before exiting in the seventh, setting the tone early and keeping the Pioneers off the scoreboard.
Rookie of the Week
Scott Lynch, Siena

Scott Lynch turned in a strong week for Siena, batting .333 (5-for-15) with four runs scored across four games. The sophomore delivered a key performance in the Saints’ 11-inning MAAC victory over the Fairfield Stags, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored as Siena secured the extra-inning win. Lynch also contributed steady defense at first base while providing timely offense during Siena’s opening weekend of conference play.
The 2026 MAAC Baseball Championship is a six-team double elimination championship that will take place at Heritage Financial Park in Wappingers Falls, NY on May 20-23, 2026. This will be the 14th time that the championship is hosted at the ballpark (previously named Dutchess Stadium), the most in MAAC history.
