EDISON, NJ (Apr. 25, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Lacrosse Championship beings this Sunday, April 26 with the championships’ first round.
The field of five includes top seeded Siena University, No. 2 Marist University, No 3 Sacred Heart University, No. 4 Merrimack College and No. 5 Quinnipiac University. The first round game will be hosted by the #4 seed, Merrimack while the semifinals and championship games will be hosted by top-seed Siena. The first round and semifinal games will stream live on ESPN+ while the championship game will air live on ESPNU.
No. 4 Merrimack (6-8, 5-3 MAAC) vs No. 5 Quinnipiac (5-9, 4-4 MAAC)

The opening round game will feature No. 4 Merrimack and No. 5 Quinnipiac at 1:00 pm on Sunday. The two met in the regular season on March 25, where Quinnipiac defeated Merrimack 13-9 in North Andover, MA. Merrimack enters the tournament with a 6-8 overall record and 5-3 record in the MAAC. This is Merrimack’s first appearance in the MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship field since joining the conference last season. Since 2000, this is the Bobcats ninth appearance in the postseason and they are looking to secure their second title in program history.
The 2026 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship is a five-team, single-elimination championship taking place from Sunday, April 26 through Sunday, May 2, 2025. The first round will be hosted by the No. 4 seed while the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
