2026 MAAC Women’s Rowing Coach of the Year Award Announced 

EDISON, NJ (May 20, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), today announced the 2026 Women’s Rowing Coach of the Year, as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
 
Jacksonville University head coach, Mike Lane, was voted as the MAAC Coach of the Year. This past weekend, Lane guided Jacksonville to the 2026 MAAC Women’s Rowing Championship title. The Dolphins secured the title by accumulating 35 total points, claiming their fourth championship in the past five seasons and the program’s ninth overall conference title since 2014. Jacksonville, which entered the championship as the top overall seed, took gold in the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight, while winning silver in the Varsity Four. For Lane, the Coach of the Year award is the sixth for his career.
