About MAAC SAAC
The MAAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is comprised of two representatives from each of the MAAC's 13 institutions. The group is chaired by the conference's NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative, who typically serves a two-year term.
MAAC SAAC meets two times a year in-person, and also convenes via conference calls throughout the academic year. During their meetings, the group reviews a formal agenda consisting of current and proposed NCAA legislation, MAAC championship overview, and campus best practices, among other items.
Additionally, MAAC SAAC also takes part in community service projects.
