Caitlin Lowe was promoted to Assistant Commissioner, Sport Administration in July 2024. She was appointed Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in July 2020 after serving in the interim role since January 2020. 

In her new role, Lowe oversees the in-season administration and championships for Men’s Soccer, Softball and Rowing. She is responsible for the purchasing and ordering of all conference equipment, apparel and signage. Additionally, she will continue to have oversight of league awards and student-athlete participant gifts. Lowe will also serve as the Tournament Manager for the 2025 NCAA DI, II and III Women’s Rowing Championships at Lake Mercer, in West Windsor, NJ.

In Lowe's previous role as the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations, she was responsible for developing the MAAC women's basketball schedule and for the planning and operations of the MAAC Women's Basketball Championship. Additionally, she assisted in the development of in-season and championship policies and administrative agreements for women's basketball, the scheduling and production of the women’s basketball telecast package and assists with NCAA Championship event hosting. Lowe also served as the liaison for conference rowing operations, including the planning and coordination of the conference championships as well as assisting in the development of in-season and championship policies, and administrative agreements for rowing.

In 2024, Lowe served as the Tournament Manager for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Albany Super Regional. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing all administrative and game management tasks for the region's Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games, which attracted up to 12.3 million viewers. Her responsibilities included directing and supervising competition venue arrangements, managing ticket sales, developing participant information, and overseeing the marketing program, catering, security, lodging, transportation, and financial administration.

Prior to joining the MAAC, Lowe served as a Convention Logistics Intern with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in Atlanta, Georgia. During her time in Atlanta, Lowe was responsible for assisting with duties and assignments relevant to the WBCA Convention. This included assigning meeting space for all programming; assisting in coordinating all program logistics with the convention center and hotel, including food and beverage, audio-visual equipment and billing; serving as a liaison to program speakers, and assisting in the coordination of the volunteer schedule.
 
A native of Alexandra, New Zealand, Lowe graduated from the University of Miami in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a double minor in Sports Administration and Psychology. While at Miami, she was a member of the women’s rowing team and was a four-time selection to the All-ACC Academic Team. In 2019, Lowe received her Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management from the University of Tennessee while serving as the Graduate Assistant Coach on the women’s rowing team.
