2022 MAAC Women’s Volleyball All-Academic Team Announced

EDISON, NJ (Nov. 17, 2022) – A total of 80 student-athletes earned 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Soccer All-Academic Team honors, the MAAC announced today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Marist led all schools with 14 all-academic honorees. They were followed by Iona who added 12 student-athletes to the team. Rider added nine members to the team, proceeded by Fairfield, Niagara, and Siena each placing eight athletes on the list. Manhattan placed seven honorees on the all-academic team. Canisius and Quinnipiac added six honorees and Saint Peter’s rounded out the list with two selections to the team.

The 2022 MAAC Volleyball Championship takes place from November 16 through 19 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The 10-team, single-elimination championship will feature four rounds of action with the opening round taking place on Wednesday, November 16, followed by the quarterfinals on Thursday, November 17, the semifinals on Friday, November 18, and concluding with the championship match on Saturday, November 19.
