Tiani Fonoti tallied the game's lone goal in the 66th minute to lift Canisius to a 1-0 victory against Cleveland State in collegiate women's soccer action Saturday afternoon. From the opening whistle, Canisius controlled possession for the majority of the contest and were finally able to capitalize in the 66th minute. Emma Oliphant drove down the left side of the field, passing the ball to a waiting Fonoti in the center of the pitch; Fonoti then drilled home a shot into the top right corner of the net. Goalkeeper Jordan Spencer made Fonoti's tally stand, registering one save to record her second clean sheet of the season for the Griffs.

An early scoring outburst propelled Mount St. Mary's to a 3-0 victory over visiting Hampton on Saturday afternoon. The Mount scored three times in the opening 28 minutes to secure its first win of the season. Kayla Pennington scored in the sixth minute; Kalli Bell started the play by lofting a free kick into the box where Pennington was able to flick a header that caromed past the goalkeeper for her first career goal. The Mount added to its lead 14 minutes later, as Nicole Wilson sent a ball to the right wing where Amani Green was able to collect the pass and send a cross to the middle; Madison Bee finished the play by tapping a shot into the left side of the goal. Eight minutes later, Wilson connected on a pass to Maevyn Jones, who sent the ball to the middle to Luisangely Navas; the sophomore was able to convert the cross with a nice shot to the left of the keeper for her first career goal as a Mountaineer. Goalkeeper Drew Camp made one save in the opening half to record her first collegiate victory. Head coach Melissa Sherwood posted her first win leading the program with the shutout victory.

The Marist women's soccer team collected their second win of the season against Delaware State on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 3-0. Marist saw goals from Nicole Colantuono (17’), Lauryn Schmidt (38’), and Abigal Deserre (44’) as the Red Foxes out-shot the Hornets 21-3, with an 11-1 shots on goal advantage. Goalkeeper Natalie Kelchner made one save in the full 90:00.

Quinnipiac played to a 2-2 draw with Rhode Island on Sunday. Paige LaBerge scored her second goal of the season two minutes into the first half after beating URI netminder Faith Hutchins in the box through defenders. Rebecca Cooke added to the Bobcats early lead when she scored her eighth goal of the season and 17th point of the year in the 11th minute, just nine minutes later with help from LaBerge. Netminder Sofia Lospinoso saw 90 minutes of action and made five saves in the contest.

Olivia Smith scored her first collegiate goal, the equalizer in the 68th minute, as the Rider University women's soccer team drew with St. Francis Brooklyn, 1-1, Sunday afternoon. Rider goalkeeper Ellie Sciancalepore came up big in the 33rd minute, stopping a penalty kick and the resulting rebound attempt, but the Terriers still managed to come away with a one-goal lead at the break, as Jamie-Lyn Shimamoto found the back of the net, deflecting it off a Rider back toward the center of goal as time expired on the period. In the 68th minute, the Broncs were awarded a free kick from five yards atop the 18-yard box. Smith blasted it with her right foot inside the right post to beat St. Francis keeper Klil Keshwar and equalize.

Fairfield’s three-game winning streak was snapped on Sunday as Dartmouth tallied two second half goals and the Stags fell, 2-1. Maddy Theriault scored her second goal of the season in the setback with Hannah Vogt also recording her second assist. Theriault got the scoring started in the 20th minute by once again using her footwork to get by her defenders. Vogt sent a through ball up the middle of the field that Theriault was able to chase down. The freshman would charge up the field, created space against her defender, and put the ball on the left foot that she was able to hit into the back of the net. Goalkeeper Katie Wright made three saves in net.
