CORAL SRINGS, FLA. – Kayla Brosius and Marina Heister have been named to the 2022-23 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced Thursday.
To be selected to the WGCA All-American Team a student-athlete must have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season, and have played in 50.0 percent of the college's scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
The criteria for selection to the All-America Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of student-athletes across the country.
Brosius and Heister are the first Purple Eagles to earn WGCA All-American Scholar honors.
