MAAC Announces 2024 Women’s Golf All-Academic Team

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 18, 2024) – A total of 45 student-athletes were named to the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’ s Golf All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
 
Dayton and Quinnipiac University led all institutions with a league-high seven All-Academic Team members. UAlbany, Fairfield University, Loyola Chicago, Mount St. Mary’s University, and Niagara University followed with five selections apiece. La Salle with four choices and Siena College with two honorees rounded out the all-academic squad.

The 2024 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 19-21. The 2024 championships will mark the 13th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney’s Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 22nd overall time since 2000. With 11 institutions strongly bound by the sound principles of quality and integrity in academics and excellence in athletics, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) is in its 43rd year of competition during the 2023-24 academic year. Current conference members include: Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan College, Marist College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Rider University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena College.
