Villanova’s Kerry and Hull, The Mount’s Radaelli, and Iona’s McNabb Earn First Kap7 Water Polo Weekly Awards of 2025

 
Offensive Player of the Week
Anita Radaelli, The Mount

Sophomore utility Anita Radaelli played in all four games of this past weekend's Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Villanova University. Across her time in the pool, she scored 13 goals with the Italian scoring four goals in a single game against both Mercyhurst and Iona while recording a hat trick against Gannon. She also provided nine assists to her teammates across the four games with five alone coming against Iona. She also completed nine steals during play at the invitational.
 
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Gracin Kerry, Villanova
Jr., Long Beach, CA, Mater Dei


Junior goalkeeper Gracin Kerry appeared and started in all four games across the Wildcat Invite finishing with a record of 4-0. She recorded a goals against average of 6.00 over her appearances in the opening weekend.
 
Co-Rookie of the Week
Riley Hull, Villanova
Fr., San Diego, Calif., Helix Charter
 
Freshman attacker Riley Hull played in all four games during the Wildcat Invite, recording multiple goals in all. She led the team in goals against both Mount St. Mary's and Mercyhurst, scoring nine total goals across her last two matches. 
 
Co-Rookie of the Week
Vanessa McNabb, Iona
R.-Fr., Surrey, Canada, Pacific Academy
In the opening weekend, McNabb led the offense with 14 points over four games. She scored 12 goals and two assists on 20 shots for a .600 shot percentage. She added 12 drawn exclusions. In the win over Gannon McNabb notched season and career highs with six goals and two assists. 
 
 
The 2025 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 25-27, 2025. The six-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY. Marist has hosted the Water Polo Championship annually since 2003.
