Sophomore Riley Hull contributed greatly to Villanova winning three of its four games at the Convergence Tournament and CSUN. Hull scored 18 goals and picked up 13 assists on the weekend. Hull's seven goals against No. 23 CSUN tied her for third in program history for single-game goals. Against No. 3 USC, Hull drew five exclusions.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ines Sanchez, Marist
Sr., Barcelona, Spain, Voramon
Sanchez played in all four matches for Marist, helping them go 4-0 on the weekend. In all four matches combined she recorded 35 saves on 45 attempts for a save percentage of 78%. She also recorded six assists and four steals on the weekend.
Rookie of the Week
Julia Allen, LIU
R-Fr., Lake Worth Beach, FL, Long Beach State/Boca Raton Community
Julia Allen scored 15 goals in LIU's five-game trip out west, while posting eight steals and drawing nine exclusions. Against USC, Allen netted two goals and drew three exclusions.
The 2026 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 11-12, 2026. The four-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY.
