Ryssdalsnes recorded two assists for the Bobcats last week in their win over Saint Peter's on September 27th. Sivert Ryssdalsnes has recorded four goals and four assists for 12 points this season, leading the Bobcats in all of those categories.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Sarah Bumstead, Marist, Volleyball
So. / Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Laurel Heights Secondary
Sarah Bumstead has been excellent in the classroom and emerging on the floor for Marist volleyball. She is a Chemistry major who was named to the Dean's List following both semesters in her freshman year, and she was named to the MAAC Academic Honor Roll. Last season, she set career highs of 13 kills in a match twice, and five blocks in a match twice. Last weekend, she opened MAAC play by hitting .600 with totals of 14 kills and six blocks in matches against Rider and Saint Peter's. On the season, she leads the Red Foxes with 16 blocks through Sept. 27.
