Siena’s Cayward and Fairfield’s Snayd Awarded Jersey Mike’s MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Weekly Accolades

Jackson Cayward trimmed off better than 20 seconds off his previous 8k time, crossing the finish line first in 24:12.9 at the Paul Short Run last Friday in Bethlehem, PA in fields of over 300 competitors at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course at Lehigh University.

Hannah Snayd placed 12th in a field of 338 finishers in the “College Gold” 6K at the Paul Short Run. Snayd completed the course at Lehigh in 20:03.1, a new personal-best 6K time for the reigning MAAC Champion. The loaded field featured 15 teams ranked among the top 10 in their respective regions, including a pair of nationally-ranked programs in #15 Penn State and #20 Georgetown. The 40-team field included 14 teams from the NCAA Division I Northeast Region, with Snayd finishing second among that group only behind 2024 All-Ivy harrier Molly Malague from Harvard. Snayd's time was not only the 12th fastest in the “Gold” race but the 12th fastest in all races combined at the Paul Short Run last weekend, encompassing a total of 1,357 collegiate women finishers.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, November 1, 2025. 2025 will mark the third straight year that the championship races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan University for the 31st time.
