ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Mar. 10, 2025) – A total of 71 student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Both Marist University and Merrimack College led the MAAC with nine selections to the team. Following the two leading schools were Manhattan University and Quinnipiac University, which placed seven honorees on the lineup apiece, followed by Fairfield University, and Saint Peter’s University who each added six student-athletes to the squad. The trio of Mount St. Mary’s University, Rider University, and Sacred Heart University all had five selections, followed by Iona University (4), Siena College (4), Canisius University (2), and Niagara University (2).
