Top-seeded Wagner defeated No. 3 Mount St. Mary’s 17-10 in the MAAC Championship Semifinal. Magali Ogg led the Seahawks with five goals, while Ana Arias added four in a dominant offensive display.
Mount opened strong behind four goals from Rebecca Valentine, but Wagner responded with a five-goal first quarter and never looked back. Despite efforts from Anita Radaelli and Maria Boix Pascual, the Seahawks led 10-5 at halftime.
The Mountaineers rallied with six goals in the second half, but Wagner kept pace and pulled away in the fourth quarter. Francesca Sena made eight saves for Wagner, while Olivia Fernie had five for Mount.

No. 1 Marist (24-10, 9-3 MAAC) vs. No. 3 Villanova  (21-12, 7-5 MAAC)

The second game of the semifinals saw Marist power past Villanova 9–5 in a tightly contested matchup, advancing with a strong all-around performance. The Red Foxes struck first and never trailed, building a 3–0 lead behind early goals from Samantha Bentley, Lian Hunt, and Kendell De Beer. Villanova responded with goals from Riley Hull and Adrienne Grimes, but Marist’s offense, led by Lela McCarroll and Rachel Dean, kept the pressure on.
Despite multiple exclusions and power play opportunities, Villanova struggled to convert, with Marist goalie Ines Sanchez making several key saves, including stops on five-meter penalty shots. Anna Painter and Layla Canales each found the back of the net for the Wildcats, but their offense was stifled in the second half.
Marist’s defense, led by Ella Baumgarten with multiple steals and blocks, stymied the Wildcats' attack. Dean added a fourth-quarter goal to seal the win as Marist held Villanova scoreless in the final period. Kendell De Beer and Paige Naegle also contributed assists in a balanced team effort.
With the win, Marist advances to the MAAC Title game and will take on Wagner.
