In two games the Texas native score four goals and added two assists for six points on eight shots. Trujillo added six steals and went 6-1 on swim-offs improving her career record to 254-21. In the Gaels first win of the season against Chapman, she recorded her first hat trick of the season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ines Sanchez, Marist

Ines Sanchez played two games this past weekend against Siena and Wagner. In the game against Siena, Sanchez saved four out of five shots for an 80% save percentage in the game. Against Wagner Sanchez would save 12 of 14 shots against her for a save percentage of 86%.
Rookie of the Week
Tessa Pettit, Villanova
Fr., Arroyo Grande, CA, Arroyo Grande
In her debut weekend, freshman attacker Tessa Pettit scored five goals on five attempts, three of which came in her debut game against Salem. Pettit scored two goals against No. 22 Brown to round out her weekend.
The 2026 MAAC Water Polo Championship will take place April 11-12, 2026. The four-team, single-elimination championship will be hosted by Marist University in Poughkeepsie, NY.
