GENEVA, OH (Feb. 13, 2026) – The 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships continued Friday at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio with day three action. There were no changes at the top of the leaderboard, as both Fairfield University men’s team and Marist University women’s team remaining in first place.
In the women’s 100 Fly race, Fairfield’s graduate student, Allie Bashor clocked a 55.17 winning time to secure the gold medal. On the men’s side in the 100 Fly, Mount St. Mary’s junior, Parker Koenig touched the wall at 48.01 to earn a first place finish. Niagara’s Marty Divis improved one podium position from a year ago in the women’s 400 IM, going from silver to gold with a winning race time of 4:25.26. Fairfield’s freshman, Bobby Regan took gold in the men’s 400 IM, posting a championship time of 3:51.32, to top the field. Fairfield swept gold medals in the 200 Free. In the women’s race, the Stags freshman Natasha De Pree edged out 2025 defending champion, Natalie Killion of Niagara, for the gold. De Pree, who set the MAAC record in the 200 Free on day one of the championships, finished the race in 1:48.33, to edge out Killion by 33 tenths of a second. Earning the men’s title was the Stags junior, Aidan Schnapf, who completed his race in 1:37.15 to capture gold.
For the Women’s 100 Breast, it was déjà vu all over again, as the exact same trio finished in the same order as the 2025 championship. Winning gold, while also breaking the MAAC record for the third year in a row, was Fairfield’s Tone Sandsjoe, swimming a record time of 1:00.32. The previous MAAC record which she set last year was 1:00.61 and the record before that was 1:01.45, which she set in 2024. The silver and bronze medalists in the Women’s 100 Breast were Alaina Pitton (Niagara) and April Avila (Marist) for the second consecutive year. Collecting gold in the men’s 100 Breast was Rider’s Max Connelly. Connelly touched the wall in 53.87 to win the crown. The Women’s 100 Back was claimed by Iona’s Raegan O'Brien, who moved up a spot from silver a year ago, to gold this year with her race winning time of 55.41. Closing out the individual races was Niagara freshman, Vilem Mikula, earning his second gold medal of the 2026 Championship, this time taking the men’s 100 Back, claiming gold with a time of 47.51.
The evening’s lone diving event was the women’s 3-Meter Dive. Sacred Heart dominated the board, clinching three of the top four spots on the podium, headlined by gold medalist Ryleigh Mahoney and silver medal winner Sinclair Yadao.
Capping off Thursday night in record fashion was the Fairfield Women's 400 Medley Relay squad of Chloe Wukitch (back), Sandsjoe (breast), Bashor (fly), and De Pree (free). The quartet set the MAAC record, recording a 3:40.35 time, which broke the previous record of 3:42.93 that was set last year by Niagara. Iona closed out day three by securing the title in the men’s 400 Medley Relay (3:14.04). Leading the Gaels were Kieran Egan (back), Max Buchen (breast), Noah Giunta (fly), and Nate Wales (free). This was the third straight year Iona won gold in this event, with Egan and Wales being members of last year’s unit, while Egan is the only athlete to be part of all three championship squads.
