In two conference wins last week freshman, Kevair Kennedy scored 46 points (23.0 ppg), came down with 11 rebounds (5.5 rpg), and had 10 assists (5.0 apg). Kennedy started his week with a 22 point performance against Marist shooting 50% from the field. He sank 9-of-10 shoots from the free throw line and added on a respectable seven assists. His four rebounds came with four steals. In a defensive thriller at Quinnipiac, Kennedy was electric, coming one point shy of tying his career high in points. His 24 point afternoon came on a 12-for-14 day and six made shots from the field. Kennedy chipped in seven rebounds and three steals. It was his 25th straight game scoring in double-figures and seventh game of the past nine scoring over 20 points.
The 2025-26 campaign culminates with the 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships from March 5-10 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 2026 will be the seventh consecutive year Boardwalk Hall will host the annual championship dating back to 2020. For the second straight season, the championship field will feature the conference's top 10 teams. Additionally, with the shift of the basketball championship schedule to a week earlier, the women’s championship game will be a standalone contest on Monday, March 9, while the men’s championship game will air live nationally on ESPN or ESPN2 on Tuesday, March 10.
