Offensive Player of the Week/Rookie of the Week
Carson Turissini, Iona

Freshman Carson Turissini led the Gaels to a 1-1 week, highlighted by a home win over Mount St. Mary's and a one-goal setback at Merrimack. He totaled five goals and six assists across the two contests, including the game-winning goal with 7.3 seconds remaining against the Mountaineers. Turissini opened the week with a school-record six assists and nine points in the victory over Mount St. Mary's. He also recorded his second collegiate hat trick in the win. With the shot clock winding down and less than 10 seconds to play, Turissini fired home the decisive goal to break a 14-14 tie and secure Iona's second win of the season. He followed that performance with two goals in an 11-10 loss at Merrimack on Saturday, posting his team-leading 10th multi-point game in 13 contests and his fifth game with at least two goals. For the season, Turissini leads the Gaels with 36 points on 17 goals and 19 assists.
Defensive Player of the Week
Vito DeBellis, Siena
Sr., Yorktown Heights, NY, Yorktown
Vito DeBellis earned two victories in a 11-10 double overtime win at Marist this past Wednesday and in a 13-5 win against Canisius. In 123 plus minutes of action, DeBellis made 22 saves and allowed just 7.3 goals per game on a .595 save percentage.
Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week
Ryan Grove, Sacred Heart
So., Cheshire, CT, Cheshire
Ryan Grove had an outstanding week at the face off x. He went 15-18 with five ground balls in #20 Sacred Heart's 13-5 win over Manhattan on Wednesday and then went 17-29 with 10 ground balls in the Pioneers' 15-13 win over Hofstra on Saturday.
Co-Face-off Specialist of the Week
Logan Banek, Siena
So., New Hartford, NY, New Hartford
Logan Banek won 30-of-44 faceoffs (.682 win percentage) with a team-high 21 ground balls in Siena's 11-10 double overtime win at Marist this past Wednesday and the Saints' 13-5 win against Canisius. Banek went largely against 2024 MAAC Face Off Specialist of the Year Micah Hanson in the Canisius game (15 of 19).
The 2026 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship is a five-team, single-elimination championship taking place from April 26 through May 2, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #4 seed, the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
