Niagara’s Delles, and The Mount’s Chester and Bittinger Capture Jersey Mike’s MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the Week
Michaela Delles, Niagara

Michaela Delles led the Purple Eagles to a 2-0 week recording seven points in Niagara's victories over Iona and Siena. Against Iona, she tallied a hat trick, scoring three points, while winning one draw control. In the match against Siena, Delles scored four goals, including the game-winner, while adding two caused turnovers.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Hailey Chester, Mount St. Mary's
Sr., Greensboro, MD, North Caroline High School
 
Hailey Chester spearheaded a strong defensive for the Mountaineers, limiting two opponents to a combined three goals this week. With Chester in the midfield, Mount St. Mary’s earned an 18-1 win over Marist and a 17-2 victory against Rider. On the week, Chester picked up six ground balls, recorded six caused turnovers, and won 13 draw controls. Additionally, she set a career high for caused turnovers with five and also scored a goal in the win over Marist.

Rookie of the Week
Haylee Bittinger, Mount St. Mary's
Fr., Westminster, MD, Manchester Valley High School
 
Haylee Bittinger scored eight points in a dominating 2-0 week for Mount St. Mary’s which featured an 18-1 win over Marist and a 17-2 win over Rider. Bittinger led the Mount's offense against Marist with a career high five goals, with all six of her shots landing on goal. She added a second hat trick in the victory against Rider, while adding three ground balls, one caused turnover and a draw control. Bittinger is third among Mountaineers in points and fourth in goals this season.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place April 26 - May 3, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds, and the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
