Quinnipiac’s Miller-Ayala, Mount’s Thomas, and Canisius’ Forcucci Named Jersey Mike’s MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Award Winners

Offensive Player of the Week
Emma Miller-Ayala, Quinnipiac

Emma Miller-Ayala registered a hat trick and a pair of assists for a total of five points in Quinnipiac’s 16-9 win over Sacred Heart. All three of her shot attempts were goals, going 100 percent in her shot attempts. Defensively, Miller-Ayala won four draw controls and scooped up two ground balls.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Camille Thomas, Mount St. Mary's
Gr., Clarksburg, MD, Quince Orchard
 
Camille Thomas clinched a home game playoff game for Mount St. Mary's with dominant performance in net, leading to a 13-4 win over Niagara. Thomas made 16 saves, which tied for the second most saves by a MAAC goalie this year, and recorded a save percentage of .800. The 16 saves were a season-high for total saves and second best for save percentage this season.

Rookie of the Week
Ella Forcucci, Canisus
Fr., Orchard Park, NY, Orchard Park
 
Ella Forcucci led the way for Canisius with four goals and an assist in Saturday's 20-10 victory over Rider. Forcucci leads all freshman nationwide with53 goals this season and holds the program record for goals and points by a freshman.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place April 26 - May 3, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds, and the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
